Our food is our passion at The Horse & Groom Inn. We are passionate in our belief that it is possible to provide outstanding quality food in stylish yet informal surroundings at sensible prices and have a reputation for doing just that.

Our head chef, Brian Soave and his team produce delicious, seasonal dishes with a big focus on locally sourced produce.

Our beef comes from Jesse Smith Butcher's, a local family butcher who have just celebrated their 200th anniversary. Look out for our Ribeye which is specially hung for us for 28 days and is delivered when required on the bone. Our pork belly and bacon comes from nearby Bromham, free range chickens from a farm in Stroud and lamb from the Cotswolds. In fact we are proud to say that almost all of the ingredients used at the Horse & Groom Inn come from within 40 miles of the pub so we’re truly flying the flag for great food in Wiltshire.

Our menus feature imaginative modern British ala carte dishes, as well as traditional pub classics such as sausage & mash and home-made pies. We also offer mouth-watering bar snack menus and puddings that are quite simply, to die for!

We have recently been awarded an AA Rosette, AA Breakfast and AA Dinner Award. We have also been listed in this year’s Michelin Restaurant & Eating Out Guides.
